Well the results are in and we believe these are the final ones which put myself and Dan in 7th place in the Male Pairs Category. We were in 6th then 9th and then back into 7th due to the major stuff up with the timing system. Apart from that and a lot more aggression on the track we had a ball. Having done no real training bar a couple of two hour rides we rode pretty much non stop for the 24hrs.

These shots are part of a series i did for the rebranding of the company i work for funnily enough called Zoo Advertising. Took 3 months to do and is still my favourite ever job

This is a little bush bee i found in my backyard in amongst the lavender. The have the coolest eyes and make a little V8 engine noise when the hover.

The next few shots were taken in Queensland, Redcliff.

This is Harry the Huntsman, not a happy camper at all.

Gorillas are hard to shoot but so worth the wait. These are some of my favourite shots.

ALL ABOUT THE BIKE

Racing at the Highland Fling in 08 still with no real fitness or confidence in my knee but having a ball none the less24hr race at Stromlo in 08 starting to get a little bit stronger after months of riding with the now famous Mumnuts as their wanna-be coach. It was all this riding with the Mumnuts that allowed me to slowly ease into riding as ive got a bad habbit of going to hard to early on the bike and not letting the body get conditioned at its pace.
Team Mumnuts, 2nd place and PB's all round. So very proud of all of them as they should be of themselves
The Santa Cruz Blur, this is still my fav ride. Built for comfort and bashing hard although ive broken a rear triangle and cracked the rear shock mount its been fixed and still going strong.
The Scott Scale 20, i never thought i would ride a hard tail but this thing is awesome. Super quick climber and a great XC racer at speed. Its a little twitchy down low but all in all its super quick and light.
The old shmoadie. Done a lot of miles on this puppy, the frame is a warranty replacement and the wheels are new but other than that its nearly 9 years old and still going strong.

Well today i finally feel like im back on the bike. Had my first competitive race yesterday being injury free and it was awesome fun. I did a lot better than i expected, it took a little while to actually get racing but by the halfway mark the legs kicked in and it was game on. So much so that all though i didnt feel as though i was flogging myself apparently i was as once i got home after the race i fell asleep big time. 6th place in Vet Men and not to far off the next few guys time wise but a lot of hard work ahead to catch them up real time.

Below is my new roadie which ill ride from Syd to Melb in 3 weeks time. Havent actually had the time to set it up and test it properly but from just riding around out the front in runners it feels like a weapon. More to come on this sucker.
